About House of Mercy International Church

The House of Mercy International Church is a church of our Lord Jesus Christ established on March 16, 2021, and is located in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, for all Canadians and all nations. At House of Mercy International Church (House of Mercy), we believe that our lives, existence, and being are a product of God’s mercy. The Bible says in Lamentation 3:22-23, “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

From the bible verses, it is by God’s mercies that we are not destroyed, eliminated, or limited in life, and as long as there is morning, God’s mercy is new every morning, meaning that you have access to new mercy every day. The church’s logo shows a cross in a pool of blood and a drop of blood, and this is saying to you that the mercy of God is available to everyone through the blood of Jesus, which was shed for all people on the Cross of Calvary. Hence, your only responsibility and duty to access God’s mercy is to come as you are. You do not have to be perfect or flawless or have your life figured out, or everything is working as you planned. God’s mercy is available because “God commended His love toward us in that while we are yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8.

The House of Mercy is a platform where you will experience the reality of God’s mercy upon your life, family, and in every area of your existence because God’s love is available to all, and His love is exhibited through His mercy. Also, God’s mercy not only protects us from destruction but also produces healing, deliverance, grace, favour, provision, blessings, fulfilled life, and many more. In addition, we believe that having obtained mercy from God, we must be merciful, loving, caring, and accommodating to all people regardless of who and what they are. This is because our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to be merciful to all in Matthew 5:7 “blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” We are encouraged to sow seeds of mercy wherever we go and whomever we meet. The seed of mercy is an avenue where members of the House of Mercy give, help, assist and show love to those in need in our community and around the world.

What We Believe

We believe that God is the creator of the universe, the heaven and earth, and all that dwell therein. We believe in the trinity, which is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and they are one God. Also, God so loved the world, and He gave us His only begotten Son to die for us on the Cross. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is God, and He shed His blood for us on the Cross of Calvary, died for us to give us His life and righteousness, and He resurrected on the third day and ascended into heaven where He is seated on the right hand of God in majesty. Also, the Holy Spirit lives in us and was fully manifested on the day of Pentecost. We believe that there is Eternity; God hates sin because it separates us from God and leads to hellfire, but the life in Jesus Christ through is perfect, and substitutionary sacrifice leads us to heaven. Also, we believe that the Bible is the word of God.

What We Offer

At the House of Mercy, we showcase the love of God through His word and His mercy through His works. In our services, we preach and teach the undiluted word of God based solely on the Bible, and there is an opportunity to grow in the word of God and spiritually with increased knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, in all meetings, the Holy Spirit is always the chief guest of honour, and He is always present and moves in our midst and lives; hence, expect to be touched by the Holy Spirit. Prayer is a constant, and we assure you that an opportunity to improve your prayer life is here and there is someone always praying for you. In addition, we serve others because it is the best way to show the love of Jesus Christ.

About The Pastor

My name is Anderson Ebhomielen, and I am a child of God. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and in a Christian family. I became a born-again Christian in my teenage years. Since a teenager, I have been preaching, teaching the word of God, and evangelizing to people about the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I attended Deeper Life Bible Church growing up, attended the Redeemed Christian Church of God and House on the Rock before relocating to Canada in 2013. However, before and shortly during my relocation to Canada, the devil enticed me with worldly pleasure and sin, but God’s grace and mercy snatched me from the claws of the devil; hence, I am a product of God’s mercy. Also, while in Canada, I have been attending the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Freedom House Parish, Lethbridge, Alberta, until 2021, the Lord called me to start the House of Mercy International Church. In 2016, the Holy Spirit led me to start a program titled Quality of Life through the Word and Worship, a monthly program that began on June 29, 2016. The program ran from June to September of 2016 and closed. However, on July 19, 2019, to date, the Lord led me to start an online ministry on Facebook titled The Ephphatha Anointing, which is held once a week and it is still running.
